In 1871 she was living in Woodland Road, Eling, Hampshire with her husband. He was 47 years old. There is no mention of her children.
In 1891 she was living at Blighmount Lodge, Millbrook, Hampshire where she was the Domestic Cook to Maria Naghten and 76 year old single lady living on her own means and her sister, aged 75 and also single. Both were from London. Elizabeth was 67 years old and a widow. Also working at the house were three other servants - Emma Balding a Domestic Palourmaid aged 61, single from Exton, Hampshire, Louisa Kellaway a Domestic Housemaid aged 39, single and from Southampton and Charles Mann a Coachman aged 24, single from Heathfield, Sussex.
