Note on Husband: Joseph Farmer SHERRING

In 1861 Joseph was a soldier (rank-private) and aged 21.

In 1871 he was living at 33 Sherborne Road, Yeovil with his wife and children Sarah, Alice, Bessie, Margarite and Arthur Sherring aged 21, a House Carpenter, who was a boarder, born in Ashington. Joseph was a Railway Packer.

In 1881 he was still living at 33 Sherborne Road, but with his wife and two children Sarah and Frank. He was a Railway Packer.

In 1891 he was living at 57 Rickleford, Yeovil with his wife (now only 2 years older than him) and son Frank. He was a General Dealer (Shop). Also living with them was Thomas Bridgeman a boarder aged 68 an Army Pensioner and Alfred Coleman a lodger who was 29 and an Insurance Assistant Supervisor.
