In 1881 he lived in Rimpton Street, Marston Magna, Somerset with his parents and 3 brothers.

In 1891 he was living with his parents in Rimpton Road, Marston Magna and 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He was a Grocer and Labourer.

In 1901 he was living in a cottage in Cattistock, Dorset with his wife. He is 23 years old and a Railway Packer.

His gravestone is in the Melbury Bubb churchyard dated 1967.

In 1871 he and his family were living at Camel Street, Marston Magna, Somerset.

His occupation, as Railway Labourer / Platelayer, is recorded on his sons marriage certificate. However the census certificate shows him as a Boot & Shoe Maker.

In 1881 he was living in Rimpton Street, Marston Magna with his wife and 4 sons. He was a Railway Labourer.

In 1891 he was living in Rimpton Road, Marston Magna with his wife and children Frederick, William, Samuel, Harry, Bessie and Anna. He was a Railway Labourer.

At the 1901 census is job is a Railway Packer and he is living 'By Station' in Marston Magna with his wife and daughter Kate.

At the 1901 census she is described as living in Cattistock.

The gravestone in Melbury Bubb churchyard shows Emily's death as 1930. Some records show it as 1900, the same year as she was married, which must be incorrect as she had children after that date.

In 1851 he was living in Wraxall, Dorset with his grandmother (a widow), his mother (presumably Sarah (Elizabeth) Samways), two uncles and two aunts. He was 2 years old.

6 Reginald Gundry BARTLETT (1884- ) [1013]. Born Mar 1884, Leigh, Dorset.

At the 1901 census he was living at Leigh, Dorset and was described as a Bread Baker.

There are two Gundry families which are thought to have links with the Bartletts. Research is ongoing.

Tarrant Rawston Gundry's.

By 1731 Thomas Gundry came into the property and he is credited with building the brick, stones and flint front of Rawston House. The centre part is older and the rear western façade later. Some features of the front eastern part suggest that the Bastard brothers, who lived at Tarrant Keynston for a while, contributed to the design. Radford Gundry, thought to be a cousin of Thomas came into the property in 1773 and on his death in 1778 aged 67 it came to his elder brother Thomas who died in 1805. The Gundry family came from Dewlish.

Bridport Gundry's.

Lived at The Hyde, outside Bridport (now a BUPA Nursing Home) and owned a net making business in Bridport.
